PhD in Understanding the spread of conservation initiatives effectively & ethically

Imperial College London

I used diffusion of innovation theory to understand the drivers and barriers to adoption of fisheries conservation initiatives. I also studied people's satisfaction with these initiatives and the likelihood the initiatives would spread through positive peer to peer referrals. Finally, I tested whether adopters of voluntary carbon offsets were more or less active and successful in reducing their carbon emissions overall. I am publishing three papers from my PhD thesis.

MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment

University of Wales

During my master's degree, I gained a deep understanding of the methods, law, economics and practices of environmental impact assessment. The importance of understanding site-specific impacts on all elements of the environment, including climate, culture, flora and fauna through time and space has informed all my future work and PhD. I received a distinction for my MSc.

BSc in Ecology

Leeds University

My bachelor's degree in environmental science provided me with a strong foundation in environmental science, including economics, zoology, botany, and ecology. I conducted research on bottlenose dolphins in the UK and received a 2i for my BSc.
